Hands off our tights

Ramzan Kdyrov the  leader of Chechnya, said this week that a local rule forcing women to wear headscarves was justified because the sight of female flesh prevents him from concentrating on his work.  And its not just a personal problem for Mr Kdytrov.  As Mr Kdytrov continued

"If women go to work half-naked, then men won't be able to work.  I'll look at you, and day and night I'll be thinking about how to say  hello to you. Work will be the last thing on my mind."
Now if the mere sight of an uncovered female head puts Mr Kdytrov off work, what about a pair of lovely long legs in black tights and heels.  Well Mr Kdytrov was interviewed by Tina Kandelaki who was wearing a black jacket and a knee-length skirt with tights. And her clothing was a problem for him since he said:

"You are too provocatively dressed, so I'm trying not to look at you,"
Tights come with the job
We suspect it was Ms Kandelaki's legs and tights that were causing the problem.  Perhaps all that nyloned leg was giving Mr Kdytrov a hard on.  Judge for yourself by clicking on one the pics at the top of the article.

Dad recommended black
Now the problem isn't that women have the right to wear what we want.  Its that politicians and clerics don't have the right to tell us what to wear.  If your boss tells you not to wear short skirts, tights and heels, then you don't, or you get another job.  No one is forcing you to work for him.  Equally your boss should be able to insist that you do wear tights and heels.  Again if you don't like the dress code, leave.  Similarly your dad has the right to tell you what to wear as long as he is shelling out for your keep.  So if he says that skirt is too short, it is too short.  On the other had if he says you should wear black tights with that skirt, its tights you will wear.

On a related, but slightly off topic point, no one has the right to tell xian hotel owners that they must give a double bed to a couple of guys who are going to screw each other up the arse.  This is not a matter for the courts.  But  if enlightened and intelligent people want to "out" the policies of the hotel and discourage others from using it, the users have no right to complain.  And if Satanists like myself want to pray for the xian hotel owners early demise no one has the right to stop us.

But back to the tights.  The whole point of showing off our legs in a nice pair of tights Mr Kdytrov, is to distract the men around us.  Want to get your way in an argument or sell him a product he doesn't want? Then get that low level reptilian part of his brain that controls his cock concentrating on your legs and all higher functions will be suspended.  Actually I don't think most normal guys mind.  They know it is part of the power play between the sexes - or maybe they don't - but they enjoy oggling anyhow.

Still on the subject of dressing for work the "Fashion for Lunch" blog reckons:

"if all you add to your outfit is a pair of patterned tights, the look will instantly be more updated, and you can have a different look every day of the week!"
Now I agree that patterned tights are a great way of giving you a new look without spending loads of wonga, but I'm not sure they are right for the office.  I prefer to agree with Gulf News:
"A pair of sheer tights adds an instant elegant edge to your work attire"
Sheer for work?
Patterned for the pub?
I think that sheer is not only more elegant but also more sexy, and therefore more powerful.  You don't want to confuse a guy's brain with all those complex patterns.  But hell, if patterned works you you, go for it.  I don't want to become another Mr Kdytrov.
