Joy of Tights Guide to Knees

On the tube yesterday I read an artcicle about fixing dodey knees so I thought I'd share some of it for all you knee suffers out there.  No I'm lying, I don't give a fuck about the nation's knackered knees, I'm just trying to boost by flagging hits by showing some nyloned knees.
Nyoned Knees
People with knee pain are often advised to wear cushioned shoes, such as running shoes, to ease some of the shock that can cause pain as the foot hits the ground. If you wear trainers daily, it is recommed that you get new ones every six months as spongy soles can become compressed.
Hope they are new trainers
Varying your footwear can have a positive impact. Many people don't realise that tight calf muscles (from wearing high heels, or sitting at a desk all day) could be exacerbating their knee pain, because the top of the muscle attaches at the back of the knee, and, if tight, can prevent the knee's full range of natural movement.

With heals that high her calf muscles must be really tight.  Nice body BTW (on the care alright!)
It is recommeded that you alternat flats with heels of different heights on different days and at points throughout the day.

Get those heels off - think of the good it is going to do for your knees
I knew it would come down to having to give up heels in the end.

At least if you have to wear flats, you can pair them with some interesting tights.  (< Look there's the tights bit).
Myself, in my unexpert opionon, I would have though going about in your stocking feet would be good for your knees.  After all that's what evolution intended.  Well not stocking (or tights) feet exactly, but at least without shoes, even flats.  OK it may not always be practical but you can least slip your shoes off inside.
And some of us even manage it outside
