Do women still wear tights at Christmas? (Open poll)

Now that Christmas is over, but only just over, I'd like to do a little survey.  Do girls still wear tights at Christmas or is it all trousers and bare legs now?

I am aware that an increasing number of men now wear tights at Christmas - or at any time in fact - thanks Rosie for your comment about your man.  However, as yet, most wouldn't wear at a Christmas gathering.  So I a limiting this survey to the proportion of women wearing tights at the Christmas gathering you attended.

Now you just have to answer a simple survey question:

So let's try this out;.pretend the picture below is all the girls at your Christmas gathering:

Now that's seven girls in total.  But only four in tights - the rest in trousers and socks.  So that is 4/7 or 57.14%.  That's closer to 50% than 75%, so you answer 50% - easy.

Now if you are a sad guy who spent all Christmas on your own surfing the web you could answer 0% because there were no real girls involved in your Christmas wearing tights.  Ah the real is causing you problems.  Perhaps, on second thoughts, you had not better answer the survey at all.  Since there were no girls in your Christmas - or in your life for that matter - you cannot meaningfully talk about the proportion who were wearing tights.

Now if you are a girl who spent all Christmas day in her kitchen due to extreme social anxiety disorder, and yes, I've been there, you can still answer 100% - as long as you were wearing tights.

There are lots of reasons to wear tights at Christmas.  They can be smart and add that finishing touch when you want to look your best.

They can be fashionable adding interest to your outfit.

And they can be down right sexy, showing your legs off to best effect, especially with the right shoes.

But too often tights are not being given at second thought.  Now I'm not saying that girls should wear tights 24/7 - I know that is hard for you pantyhose perverts to take - just that tights should be given a chance - especially at "special" events.

I also know it is hard for you guys to leave me comments, but I would like to know the who, when and where of tights wearing over Christmas.

Is it just more mature ladies who wear tights?

Or is there a younger generation of tights wearer at Christmas

Do only good girls wear tights

.... you know the kind that get presents from Santa

Or are tights at Christmas for bad girls too?

Are tights for a family Christmas....

....or only if you are going out

Are the tights worn at Christmas plain, coloured or patterned?

Perhaps you will only wear tights as part of a Christmas costume.
