In Defence of Carol's Patterned Tights

Shock Horror!  Carol Middleton (you know mother of HRH aka The Princess of Pantyhose) was seen out in the King's Road, London patterned tights!

Nice shoes BTW - Royal-Dry by Aquatalia, cost £195 at Russell & Bromley - a bit beyond my price range 

Some unkind people thought that patterned tights were too young for Mrs M.

Perhaps these people think we more mature ladies should only be seen in plain sheer, opaque or (horror of horrors) trousers with socks.

Well I think patterned tights for all girls.

One unkind comment on the Daily Mail said

"Ma Middleton needs to drop her skirt length to her knees at the very least and patterned tights really only look good on a girl under the age of 6 years old"

Are we thinking of the same kind of patterned tights here Cathy?

Tights for Christmas?  A younger tights wearer but way older than six!

 Well, I'm sorry Cathy, but for the first time since the 1980s patterned tights are on the way back.
