Happy Saint Andrews Day

My male readers will be pleased that some girls still wear tights in Scotland
Tights or leggings and stock? (Glasgow)
Fact (possibly) :About the middle of the 10th century, Andrew became the patron saint of Scotland. Several legends state that the relics of Andrew were brought by divine guidance from Constantinople to the place where the modern town of St Andrews stands today.
Myth: Later in life, St. Andrew the Apostle performed several miracles, including freeing the disciple Matthias from shackles in prison and raising a women's son from the dead. (How many people who you seen come back from the dead?, as for the shackles, he probably found they key).

Like the tights - the snake is a sign of Satan
You choose t or X cross:  Andrew is said to have been martyred by crucifixion at the city of Patras (Patræ) in Achaea, on the northern coast of the Peloponnese. Early texts, such as the Acts of Andrew known to Gregory of Tours,[9] describe Andrew as bound, not nailed, to a Latin cross of the kind on which Jesus is said to have been crucified; yet a tradition developed that Andrew had been crucified on a cross of the form called Crux decussata (X-shaped cross, or "saltire"), now commonly known as a "Saint Andrew's Cross" — supposedly at his own request, as he deemed himself unworthy to be crucified on the same type of cross as Jesus had been. The familiar iconography of his martyrdom, showing the apostle bound to an X-shaped cross, does not seem to have been standardized before the later Middle Ages.   Another reliable tradition then.

Apparently Andrew preached for two days from his X shaped cross.  Not something to encourage followers I would think.
Girls, don't you know your bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit?  St Andrew would not approve of that fag in your hand.
St. Andrew is also the patron saint of Russia. He apparently spent a great portion of his adult life traveling between Greece and the area known today as Russia and Romania converting many to Christianity.  But did St A ever go to what became, 19 centuries later, for a brief period, the U S S of R?  It was in interests of  Russian clerics, striving in numerous ways to link themselves with the political and religious heritage of Byzantium, to claim such a direct visit from the famous St A.  So St Andrew and Russia is made up.  Never mind at least in Russia they still wear tights:

Even "ordinary" women wear tights:
And Russian's know hoe to have fun in tights:
Fun in tights, much better than worrying about a long dead "saint"
