Back to work - tights aren't redundant

So it is back to work today.  With the economic down turn and the threat of redundancy wearing tights to work is more important than ever.

'Why?' you ask

Firstly, tights make you look business like and professional.

Secondly, tights make you look smart.

Thirdly, tights show that you have come to work.  In an age when bare legs and trousers (pants) are the norm outside the office, you want to look as if you have come to work to, well work, not have a chat with your mates.

Finally, tights should that you pay attention to the little things.  That would make an effort.  That you are bothered.  Tights are an accessory - you don't have to put them on.  So putting them on shows that you are prepared to go the extra mile.  Also tights are harder to put on - mind you don't get a ladder (run).  They are another thing to co-ordinate with the rest of your outfit.  So putting them on shows that you are careful and can get the details right.

In short, wearing tights gives an indication that you are a good employee.  And when sackings are in the air, being a good employee counts.

Of course there is what some people would say is a more "sinister" reason tights why tights help you keep your job.  If your boss is a man they make you more attractive.  But isn't this so all last century?

Well perhaps, but guys are still guys and you should use everything you've got to keep your job.  But, the feminists will say, you are selling your body to keep your job.  Hardly, we are just talking about tights and a skirt.

Now if you know your boss has a bit of a nylon fetish, you could always try sandals as well to show off your feet.  High heels are always good for getting male attention.  They can make your feet hurt - so slip them off under the desk.  (Also good to let Mr Nylon Perv boss see your feet).

So what kind of tights should you wear for work?  Well the trusty opaques are probably best.  Warmer.  Preserve modesty if the boss tries a peek.  And they don't look slutty at all.  Of course you may have a uniform that defines the tights you wear:

You may like to go for sheers instead of opaques.  Nothing fancy.  Just plain tan or black

(Below) Good for getting the nylon loving bosses attention.  Nice shiny sheer tights.  Sandals to show the feet - and that can be slipped off for comfort and a little "footy" display.
