Tights by Royal Appointment

Girls, I hope you are all following Kate Middleton's example - no not my marrying a prince there just aren't enough to go around - but by wearing sheer black tights.  Well it looks like Kate Middleton has dethroned Lady Gaga as the top fashion buzzword for the upcoming season at least according to Artist direct:
"Royal-wifey-to-be Kate Middleton is cute. She is attractive. She is stylish. But one would never think Middleton would trump fashionista and icon Lady Gaga as a fashion buzzword, but alas, she has! It seems that the excitement about the royal wedding and what designer will create her dress has the fashion world abuzz and Kate Middleton is a bigger fashion buzz phrase than Gaga at this point, according to research conducted by Global Language Monitor. OMG! "
Of course there are always skeptics.  Liz Jones in the Mail says:

"The thick black tight has become something of a Kate signature and one I wish she could be weaned off.

Thick tights do not belong on a princess or a style leader. As the Wall Street Journal says: ‘Wearing sweater-knit tights, reminiscent of school yards and pinafores, could buttonhole you as someone’s assistant.’ Ouch! I’d rather see her in something sheer or even bare to show off her lovely legs, which seem to grow more slender by the day. "
But Kate does wear more sheer tights as we have seen.  What is more, is it right for the future queen to go with a bare leg?  Of course in the past Kate could be more daring.  At a charity fashion show at St Andrews University Kate modelled a daring see through dress which captured and in capture the heart of a prince.

The designer of that dress has good taste in tights too.

Some traitors will never follow Royal fashion trends.
Do I look like I give a flying fcuk what she is wearing?
Wasn't the Tower of London built for such people?  They just want to carry on with the kind of depraved games that Kate would never have played at St Andrews or at Marlborough College.  I'm sure the refined readers of this blog would have no such interest in these games either.
